So, what is Ultimate Frisbee? Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport that is played with a Frisbee. The objective of the game is to score points by catching the Frisbee in the end zone. The game is played on a field that is similar to a football field.
While it’s been big in other countries for a few years now, you’ll start to see a lot more of it in the US, too. If you can run, throw, and catch, you might even consider trying out for a league. Yes, there are now leagues.
In Illinois, it was all anyone could talk about because of the athletes competing for the Ultimate Frisbee tournament. In Loves Park, there were 62 teams taking part across four divisions. College open, college women, high school, and even masters. And people have been traveling from all over the Midwest to be a part of what’s going on.
