Elon Musk continues to do exactly what he wants to do, no matter who disagrees with him. He reinstated former President Donald Trump, after releasing a poll asking users their opinion.

In response, CBS News has now declared that it will stop posting on Twitter because of the “uncertainty” of Musk’s leadership. The truth is that Musk’s leadership has been anything but uncertain, it has been deliberate and exactly what he said would be done.

CBS Evening News delivered a piece at the end of last week entitled “Twitter Turmoil,” and it started with anchor Major Barrett saying that Musk is “scrambling, quite simply, to prevent the social media platform from collapsing.” He does not have evidence for this claim.

Jonathan Vigliotti, a CBS News national correspondent said that Musk gave “little reassurance he has a permanent plan” for the future of Twitter. The irony is the willingness of CBS to maintain an account on TikTok which has been pegged as possible Chinese spyware.

On Tuesday, Chris Wray, the director of the FBI, warned of “the possibility that the Chinese government could use [TikTok] to control data collection on millions of users or control the recommendation algorithm, which could be used for influence operations.”

He went further saying that China’s TikTok app could “control software on millions of devices.” It might have the power to compromise millions of smartphones in the United States.

But CBS thinks Musk is more dangerous than China!
