As the nation celebrated its birthday on Independence Day, most Americans were feeling the effects of the unofficial heat records recorded on July 3rd. Not to be outdone, the 4th stepped up to the plate and launched America into record-breaking territory as well. The global temp jumped 0.31 degrees Fahrenheit from the 3rd to the 4th. While to many, this is a small number, on a global scale, it represents a dramatic temperature shift.

While many climate change extremists are naive enough to try and tell you that it’s an American problem caused by American industry, the truth is it is impacting the entire globe. As it sits in Antarctica, the temperature is up 8.1 degrees over the 1979-2000 average. Quebec, with its raging wildfires, has been setting new records almost daily, as has northwestern Canada and Peru. Back here in the US, from Beaverton, OR down to Tampa, FL, the cities have been hovering at all-time highs.

The only cities not setting records are places like Buffalo and Rochester, NY. There they have been dealing with torrential rains that flooded already swollen creeks and sent rocks and mud sliding down hillsides. In these cities, the combination of Canadian wildfire smoke and rain has left the foothills of the Appalachian valley blanketed under smoke or fog for weeks on end. Their sky simply hasn’t been clear enough to send the temperatures soaring.

As climate change activists have tried blaming Americans for the change, we as a nation have to wonder what President Biden is doing to fix things. His green energy bills don’t make a dent in the pollution across the globe, and electric cars do more damage to the planet than it solves problems. This isn’t the answer the American people needed or wanted, yet he keeps shoving it down our throats.

Now it’s time that we, as a nation, tell Biden that enough is enough. God knows we didn’t have changes this drastic with Trump in office.
